Community Forum - Breast Cancer, Care and Connection
Held at Harry's Place - 16 May 2026
This forum provided a safe, respectful environment for open and honest conversations surrounding breast cancer, before, during and after diagnosis. Participants explored a wide range of important topics, including treatment experiences, wellbeing, relationships, support options and the often-overlooked ways cancer can affect everyday life.
It was inspiring to see so many people actively engaged, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their stories. The inclusion of an online attendance option was also a valuable addition, ensuring community members who couldn’t be there in person were still able to connect, participate and feel supported.
